Guatemala Mission Trip- May 3-10, 2024

Next Spring, 24 ACS Cornerstone students and adults will be heading to serve at the Children’s Home, El Amor de Patricia, and the village of Yalu in San Lucas, Guatemala. We will be serving the children and families in the village with our time and talents. Some projects may include: delivering bunk beds and elder beds, installing stoves, painting some houses in the village, conducting a hygiene clinic, helping with monthly food deliveries, putting on a carnival for the community and at the home for the children, and of course just loving on the children! https://www.elamordepatricia.org/

As you can imagine, there is a cost to the travel and for the above service projects. If you feel led to donate towards this trip you can do so on our website in a safe and secure manner. (add link here) As always, you can also send a check directly to the school.  

But, as always, prayer is needed continually. Prayer for the planning and preparations! (especially for those who are working on getting their passports) Prayer for the trip itself. And prayer for our time serving. Matthew 25:40 tells us, “‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Guatemala is a very poor country. Yet, its beauty runs deep. The Lord knows how we are needed, and we are excited to be His hands and feet. Please pray with us!
